I would like to draw your attention to the 10 most frequent mistakes which are made by new enterprises when selling English customer returns. Below written are based on details of international market researches and also on continuous communication with our customers. In 10 points below we describe our experiences and observations which must be known before making investments or opening a shop.
1. TOO BEAUTIFUL TO BE TRUE!
Do not go for those online or offline advertisements which offer 100% or bigger profit in this business opportunity! Such a large profit cannot be realized with regular course of business, realistic economical and market situation. I adivse not to deal with those companies which give you similar offers!
2. EVEN FIVE MINUTES ARE ENOUGH!
When you contatc a company or even if an unknown company contacts you, first you should make sure of the actuality, accuracy and activities of the company. Try to check if the company is not bankrupt or is under liquidation procedure. Get information on for how long the company has been in the market. You can find many valuable information on the internet and also in company registers.
3. PARTNER AGREEMENT!
If you would like to open an own shop as a contractual partner, please read the partner agreement very thoughtfully. It can happen that an offer of a company sounds too good and the sales representative continually forces you to sign the contract to make you a contractual partner the soonest. DO NOT go for this! Before signing the contract, analyze each point very carefully and ask for legal advise if necessary. 4. LIST OF PRODUCTS ON THE PALLET!
Certain companies offer quite cheap pallets. DO NOT purchase the pallets without detailed lists! Think about your buying intent in case if you do not receive the offer in Hungarian because the English list cannot be defined in all cases, not even with the Google search engine, thus we cannot be 100% sure that we receive what the particular company promised.
5. BE CAREFUL WITH LOW PRICES!
Even if the prices of the composition of pallets are low and attractive, do not become a buyer for the first instant. Be careful! Try to get as much infromation as possible on the composition and quality of the goods.
6. BE SURE IN WHAT YOU ARE DOING!
Among your first questions you must ask about the conditions of guarantee or warranty. Do not purchase without a guarantee or warranty, not even in case if the company gives much better prices for the raw pallets as against other companies. BE CAREFUL with the raw, uninspected pallets. You might be promised to receive undamaged goods with almost no rejections or broken products. Think over what MAKES YOU SURE that it is really true since guarantee or warranty is not included. It is especially typical for these companies that after doing business they state that they take no responsibilities for their stocks and incidental damages.
I already spoke to customers who had purchased products from companies operating with similar conditions and in many cases not even the invested fund returned! If you receive an offer for ’A’ category perfect stocks, just simply ask for a guarantee or warranty, because the concerned company has noththing to be afraid of if the goods are really faultless.
7. ASK FOR REFERENCES!
If a company claims that they are the best in the market just ask for an evidence. Ask for some contacts of the company, talk to the retailers, make sure that the wholesaler is trustworthy. If you have opportunity visit the clients and sales partners. Do not be slotful to question the sales manager as it’s all about your money and nobody wants to back the wrong horse.
8. THE SATISFIED CUSTOMER IS THE BEST REFERENCE!
Be careful if you get in touch with a company which manifests a fair behaviour and gives full guarantee or warranty for its products. Ask for reference from their partners asking if the company really trades in the products which go wrong, breaks or become rejections within the warranty period. There is no better reference than the feedback of some satisfied customers.
9. GUIDANCE – MARKETING – COMMERCIAL!
When you enter into a business relationship with a company it is very important to be familiar with what is given to you AS AN EXTRA SERVICE FREE OR CHARGE besides the purchased pallets. A fair company gives advice to its customers, prepares individual marketing strategy and has sign-boards made. They survey the market environment of the chosen shop and they compose the pallets according to these information. They make customized throwaways and keeps in touch with its customers.
10. HAVE YOUR OWN AREA!
During business negotiations definitely insist on having your own business area and the company covers in a contract that in a certain distance they will not open a new shop, will not draw in other partners and will not supply unprompted buyers with goods. Just think over how inconvenient it can be if you open a shop and the same company opens another partner shop two streets away.
